Replacement Motor Part Numbers

 Many of our motors are “Manufacturer Suggested Replacements” rather than exact part-number matches. Although you may see slight differences—such as a marginally higher fractional horsepower rating, a longer shaft, or a different capacitor size—each replacement is tested and approved to match the performance characteristics of the original unit. You can expect the replacement motor to deliver the same torque, speed, and reliability you require. Can individuals without an HVAC license purchase from cemotors?

Yes anyone is able to purchase any product from our website. There are no special requirements or licenses required, simply add items to your cart, and check out by providing your shipping address and payment information.

Can I change or cancel my order?

You may request cancellation within 24 hours of placing an order. After that window, cancellations are at our discretion—please contact [email protected] or call 517-543-4080 immediately.

Which carriers do you use?

We ship via UPS, FedEx, USPS, freight carriers, and local courier services.

What are your shipping hours?

All shipments go out Monday–Friday, 8 AM–3 PM EST.

How is the shipping warehouse warehouse chosen?

We automatically process each order (including local pickups) from the warehouse closest to the address you provide at checkout.

How do local pickups work?

After ordering, you’ll receive a pickup number by email (or SMS) within 10–15 minutes. Your order is typically ready within one hour. The warehouse address will be provided in that message—distribution hubs do not accept walk-ins, this is why the address if not posted online. We advise confirming stock with us before making a purchase. 

Where are the warehouses for local pickup?
Please be advised not all warehouses have up-to-date stock online and we strongly advise contacting us before placing an order for local pickup!

Can I get Next Day Air or Saturday delivery?
  • Next Day Air: Available only for orders placed before 3 PM EST. After 3 PM, this option is disabled at checkout.

  • Saturday Delivery: Available only for orders placed Fridays between 8 AM and 3 PM EST. After 3 PM, this option is disabled at checkout.

What if I need a courier delivery quote?

Courier quotes expire 10 minutes after issuance. Be ready to confirm and pay within that window to secure the rate.

What if my Next Day Air shipment is delayed?

We dispatch Next Day Air orders same business day when placed before 3 PM, but weather, carrier delays, or significant events are beyond our control. No refunds are issued for delayed Next Day Air deliveries.

What is your return window?

All returns must be initiated within 30 days of purchase using your order number as the return reference.

How do I start a return?
  • Go to https://cemotors.us/refund_returns/ and complete the form with your order number.

  • Pack the item in its original box with all contents and the original packing slip inside.

  • Write your order number on the outside of the package and ship it back.

  • If you cannot include the packing slip, contact us immediately upon delivery (using the tracking number) to avoid delays.

Is there a restocking fee?

A 20% restocking fee applies to all non-warranty returns, unless the item is unopened, uninstalled, and undamaged.

What if I received the wrong item?

We’ll provide a prepaid return label—except for “Replacement” units (those with “Replacement” in the title), which are treated as alternatives to OEM parts. If a Replacement unit is wrong due to our cross-reference error, include detailed mismatched specifications in your form.

When will I receive my refund?

Refunds are processed in the order received. Allow 3–5 business days for processing after receipt, then 5–7 business days for the credit to post. You can check status at 517-543-4080.

Warranties & Defects

Q: What warranty do you offer?
A: Most products carry a 1-year limited warranty, unless otherwise noted.

Q: How do I file a warranty claim?
A:

  1. Complete the return form at https://cemotors.us/refund_returns/ with your order number.

  2. Describe the defect or failure.

  3. Provide additional information (photos, videos, measurements) if requested.

All warranty submissions are reviewed and evaluated before any repair, replacement, or refund is issued.

Q: What voids my warranty?
A: Improper installation (bolt marks, cut wires, set-screw marks), misuse, unauthorized modifications, or failure to follow instructions will void the warranty.
